Dresses

I ventured into Pricilla of Boston with my MOH, Mom and MOH's Mom (my other mother) one weekend when I went to Philly to help my Mom move. And alas we found not only my dress but the girls.

The girls will be wearing Vineyard Collection. It changed our blue pallet slightly but I think its gorgeous. They will be wearing the dress in regatta blue, which is darker, like sapphire blue. The girls will be able to wear any black strappy sandals they would like.

Shannon modeling her dress! I bought a used one off ebay for $75 to rework for our Junior Bridesmaid. Saves me over $100 from buying it from Priscilla and I will have fabric leftover for the Flower Girl sashes.

My dress ended up being much different then I thought. I went in wanted no crinoline, simply and sheik. The consultant at Pricilla of Boston in Ardmore was FANTASTIC and the dress I ultimately chose was her choice. I wouldn't have bought my dress that day, but I am a sucker for a good deal. Since they were having a trunk sale I scored it for 10% off plus another 5% because Mom opened the POB credit card. AND they gave my $250 towards headpiece and veil stuff. Additionally we get 15% off on the girls dresses!!!

My dress is the Vineyard Piper, and I ordered it in Ivory. Please excuse the fact that I had just come from the beach and wanted to make sure my veil looked ok with the dress.

I took the lace off my Mom's veil, cleaned it with Oxyclean and resewed it onto tulle into a modified mantilla (Please excuse the extra lace hanging I didn't want to cut it until I checked it with the dress)

We are making the Flower girl dresses because I can't find anything I like. Luckily Kristin can have her Husbands Best Friends Grandma make Cora's (she also made both of Kristin's flower girl dresses) and either Ed's mom, sister's MIL or myself will make Rachel's.
